On this episode of Autistic POV I share some information on freewriting and my experience with freewriting. I’m just starting this practice and will be talking about it again.
PLEASE NOTE: I actually wasn’t crazy about the kind of pedantic tone of this podcast. Future episodes will be more focused on personal experience (vs. me trying to sound like an expert). Still I did want to learn about freewriting and I found the info helpful and hope others will too!
From the Podcast Write Up
An autistic perspective on freewriting and how it can help us improve creativity, explore identity, and even improve physical and emotional health.
I wanted to share the following resources related to this episode:
I also referred to Expressive Writing by James W. Pennebaker and John Frank Evans. And Tony Attwood's book The Complete Guide to Asperger's Syndrome. Both should be available from your local library or elsewhere via interlibrary loan.
