My vampire story, Trancing Miranda, has been a long time coming but I am almost ready to publish and wanted to share my cover and blurb.
The Cover
The cover is below. I ended up doing it myself after running into creative differences with the artist. There is NO AI used!
The base image is a 3D rendered image from Unsplash and the font is stock. I did some graphic editing to the image and font and used multiple layers to get the effect I wanted.
I used Canva Pro and GIMP exclusively.
My Blurb
This is the new blurb. I tried to fit in as much detail as possible so people would know what they’re getting. There is no kick-ass heroine. The world as we know it isn’t saved. Trauma is a theme and the character arc is subtle. That’s the story I wrote.
📖 Blurb | When fae energy reader Miranda O’Malley comes to after a brutal attack, she learns that blueblood vampire Nick Markovich has saved her life. Now Nick wants her to help track down the dangerous half-vamp who attacked her. Miranda’s life is already complicated: her old tormentor is on the loose, her vampire ex is pressuring her, and her PTSD—and everything that goes along with it—is spiking. After spending her life around vampires, Miranda knows what they are capable of. Nick seems different. But that doesn’t mean she can trust him. Or herself.
