♾️ The Spirit Dream
An AuDHD Memoir About a Different Way of Processing
I was always different. Sensitive. Passionate. Clueless. People didn’t understand me, and I didn’t understand them. I put everything I had into fitting in, but it never worked. Then, at the lowest point in my life, a vivid and mysterious dream set me on a spiritual path. I processed every step of that journey through my blog, The Mystic Review. But when I sat down to tell my story, I hit a wall, and I hit the same wall with every long-form project I attempted. Finally, a diagnosis of autism and ADHD would help unlock the door to my creativity and help me rediscover the person I was meant to be.
⚠️ Trigger Warning Possible triggers include abortion, autistic burnout, bullying, co-dependency, drug and alcohol use, dubious consent, gaslighting, infidelity, low self-esteem, mental health issues, romantic obsession, self-harm, and sexual assault (off page).
